Cahn named Maryland’s only “Legal Eagle”

Baltimore, MD—Announced in the April issue of Franchise Times Magazine, a national franchising publication, David L. Cahn, Esquire, is Maryland’s only attorney named as a  “Legal Eagle.”  The designation requires client nominations and recognizes attorneys for superior client service and experience in franchising.

Principal of Baltimore-based Franchise & Business Law Group, Mr. Cahn is the Vice Chair of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Franchise Law Committee and also a frequent presenter of workshops and seminars on franchising.   Most recently, he was a panelist at the International Franchise Association’s annual convention in Florida.

A Baltimore native and resident of Mt. Washington, Mr. Cahn earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania and his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University.  He is admitted to the Maryland and District of Columbia Bar.

In 2004, he founded his own firm, which he re-named in 2005 as Franchise & Business Law Group to more accurately reflect his firm’s focus.  The firm is a member of the American Association of Franchisees and Dealers’ LegaLine and a supplier member of the International Franchise Association.
